Application for The Eclectic Chic Boutique

This is a consignment agreement. Vendor does not have to be present to sell their products, unless otherwise specified (for example, a pop up market).

We are happy to announce a partnership with The Eclectic Chic Boutique, a brick & mortar handmade gift shop in Montclair, NJ. We are offering retail and DIY class space opportunities to our vendors to expand your business reach. Please read through the descriptions for each option listed below. You may apply for one or more of the following options:

In-store Retail Space and Sales
(Open to craft artisans only) 

Retail space at Montclair, New Jersey handmade artisan shop, The Eclectic Chic Boutique. Space is limited! Check it out here: https://www.theeclecticchicboutique.com/our-montclair-shop.html

  • $10 Application fee – Upon approval by The Eclectic Chic Boutique, your $10 fee will be applied directly to the price of your first month of space fee

  • Bronze Membership ($50.00/mo.)

    • Up to 3 ft of space, equivalent to a table top or a few shelves.

    • Perfect for artists will small quantities or very small items

    • Eclectic Chic collects 30% commission per sale.

    • Items listed on The Eclectic Chic Boutique website and Amazon Handmade

    • Free 1 hour Social Media tutorial

    • Must sign up for 1 year minimum

    • Minimum 3 hours per week participation in shop or promoting shop on social media.

      • The 3 hours do not have to be consecutive, they can be dispersed throughout the week and be a combination of “Shop Participation” and “Social Media Promotion”

      • “Shop Participation” includes helping to clean shop, inventory management, taking photos, handing out promo materials, writing content for website or print materials, POS training etc.

      • “Social Media Promotion” includes liking, reposting or sharing content, commenting on posts, mentioning or tagging The Eclectic Chic Boutique in posts, posting about The Eclectic Chic Boutique in Groups or on other platforms. These will be taught in the 1 hour Social Media Tutorial.

  • Silver Membership ($100/mo.)

    • Up to 6 ft of space - this can be a combination of floor space, wall space, or both.

    • Perfect for artists with a multiple lines of items.

    • Dedicated space with signage to showcase Artist Bio and Brand Information

    • Eclectic Chic collects 20% commission on each sale

    • Items listed on The Eclectic Chic Boutique Website, Etsy and Amazon Handmade

    • Participate in Store Events and have a Premiere event

    • Provided space to teach classes, host parties, demos, talks, meetups, and seminars

    • Free 1 hour Social Media tutorial

    • Must sign up for 1 year minimum

    • Minimum 3 hours per week participation in shop or promoting shop on social media.

      • The 3 hours do not have to be consecutive, they can be dispersed throughout the week and be a combination of “Shop Participation” and “Social Media Promotion”

      • “Shop Participation” includes helping to clean shop, inventory management, taking photos, handing out promo materials, writing content for website or print materials, POS training etc.

      • “Social Media Promotion” includes liking, reposting or sharing content, commenting on posts, mentioning or tagging The Eclectic Chic Boutique in posts, posting about The Eclectic Chic Boutique in Groups or on other platforms. These will be taught in the 1 hour Social Media Tutorial.

  • Gold Membership ($200/mo.)

    • Up to 8 ft of space - this can be a combination of floor space, wall space, or both.

    • Perfect for artists with multiple lines of items and have special displays in which they need to showcase them

    • Eclectic Chic collects 10% commission on each sale

    • Featured space in shop with signage to showcase Artist Bio, Brand Information, and showcase business cards

    • 10% off any purchase made in the shop

    • One pop up event per month with Instagram and Facebook Live.

    • Items listed on The Eclectic Chic Boutique Website, Etsy, Amazon Handmade, and Facebook Marketplace

    • Events posts on Facebook, Eventbrite, Baristanet, Montclair Patch, Next Door, Mommy Poppins, Google, Alignable and other community event lists

    • Ability to participate in Montclair BID events.

    • Youtube video interview and demo video of their craft.

    • 1 promoted post on Instagram and Facebook per month

    • 1 Free Tote with promo postcards with info about their products.

    • Free shortened link to website profile

    • Provided space to teach classes, host parties, demos, talks, meetups, and seminars

    • Free 1 hour Social Media tutorial

    • Must sign up for 1 year minimum.

    • Minimum 2 hours per week participation in shop or promoting shop on social media.

      • The 2 hours do not have to be consecutive, they can be dispersed throughout the week and be a combination of “Shop Participation” and “Social Media Promotion”

      • “Shop Participation” includes helping to clean shop, inventory management, taking photos, handing out promo materials, writing content for website or print materials, etc.

Pop Up Events
(Open to craft artisans only)

The Eclectic Chic Boutique’s pop-up store – you can have your products on display at in-person vendor events!

  • $10 Application fee – Upon approval by The Eclectic Chic Boutique, your $10 fee will be applied directly to the price of your first pop up event day.

  • $75.00/day, available Friday, Saturday, Sunday only.

  • $220 for all 3 days.

    • Retain all sales of the day

    • Must submit a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks in advance.

    • Indoor and Outdoor Pop ups must have boutique quality displays

    • Must have a means of accepting credit card payments

    • Will create Event Page on Facebook, Next Door, Baristanet, Mommy Poppins, Google, Alignable and other community event lists

    • Promoted posts on Instagram and Facebook for those who book 2 or more dates

    • Print postcards for event for those who book 2 or more dates

    • Must provide photos of products and past craft show setups to inquire

Craft Classes and Parties
(Open to craft artisans)

Are you energized by teaching classes and conducting parties? The Eclectic Chic Boutique is looking for vendors who want to lead creative classes for all ages.

  • $10 Application fee – Upon approval by The Eclectic Chic Boutique, your $10 fee will be applied directly to the price of your first class or party
