Meet the Team
Kim Kraemer, Founder
If there's anything you need to know about me it would be these four things:
I do everything wholeheartedly. I am committed to helping my vendors bring their brand into the spotlight because I spent 3.5 years as a crafter/small business owner myself. I was frustrated by the amount of time spent creating product for vendor fairs only to be disappointed by the lack of advertising and turn out.
I enjoy writing and encourage my vendors to take advantage of the opportunity to guest blog for me. I was Editor-in-Chief of the world's largest fertility social media site in a past life so I am happy to answer questions and give pointers.
I talk to everyone. I am exactly like my mom. I wouldn't change it, though, because I encounter so many cool people and opportunities. When you meet me, we will likely become friends. I'll try not to hug you (right away).
I could use a lesson in patience (which is tough when you're a mom of three!). However, I credit my impatience and exceptional organizational skills for the concept of our streamlined, online vendor booth registration and no-hassle contract signing. Your time is better spent focusing on your small business than scrambling to find a scanner!
Social Media Guru
As Marketspace Vendor Events' social media guru, I'm excited to partner with crafters and small business owners, share live feeds from our exciting vendor fairs, and connect with people locally and beyond. Some of my hobbies include running my rescue dog's Instagram page, listening to music, drinking iced coffee, hanging at the beach, hogging my baby nephew, and showing everyone that licking your elbow isn't impossible! I hope to see you at our upcoming vendor fairs where I'll probably ask you to participate in a boomerang.
Business & Promotion
Part-time crafter with my wife, full-time father of 3, and a big fan of growing businesses/communities. After getting our feet wet on Etsy making handcrafted growth charts and signs, I started branching out into the vendor and craft event world. Boy, was signing up for events annoying and lack of event advertisement underwhelming. Launching Marketspace Vendor Events has given me a way to fight for my fellow small business owners and solve those problems with a unique perspective!
Computers and tech have always been a huge part of my life, fueling my hobbies and a career as a web developer. But the internet is no longer the place I knew when I was growing up. In a world of bloated websites and ads coming out my ears, I'm ecstatic to work on a clean minimalistic experience for all your vendor event needs! I hope you enjoy your experience on our site and with Marketspace Vendor Events. Please don't hesitate to share your feedback so that we can make this website even better!
New York Scout
Hello! Call me Jess! I’m from New Jersey, but have been living in Syracuse NY with my husband and 2 beautiful daughters for the past 8 months. By career, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist, as well as a certified addictions therapist in the states of PA and NY. I found LuLaRoe almost one year ago, and have added LuLaRoe retailer to my resume (as if I wasn’t busy enough!)
If you know me well, you know the following facts about me: My life revolves around my little girls (ages 3 and 1!). I love my friends fiercely and I value my closest friendships very much. I am a bit of an adrenaline-junkie and dream about becoming a certified scuba diver as well as the day I get to jump out of a plane again. I love to travel the world and don’t get to do that nearly as often as I want to. Very importantly, I choose the ocean over lake ANY day and I miss my Jersey Shore very much! Lastly, I am an insomniac for as long as I can remember, and am writing this at 1am :)
New Jersey Scout
Creating things has been imbedded in me since birth and helping people is simply part of my soul. I joined the Marketspace team not only as a vendor who loves being creative and making things, but because I really want to help other small businesses, the underdogs!
My goal is to help position small businesses so they get noticed amongst all the outside noise. I want them to grow and flourish, to show the consumer how amazing it is to shop small and local.
