Job Description:

Position: On-site Event Staff Team Member
Location: Various locations throughout New Jersey
Job Type: Gigwork, Weekends, Starting at $17/hour


Overview:
Marketspace Vendor Events is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Staff to join our team for in-person craft show production across New Jersey. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our events by assisting vendors with set-up and breakdown, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the event.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist vendors with arrival directions (unloading, booth set-up, parking).

  • Attend to vendors' needs during the event, including booth sitting and food running.

  • Offer assistance to both vendors and attendees throughout the duration of the event.

  • Assist vendors with departure procedures (clean up, packing, car retrieval).

  • Provide exemplary customer service to enhance the overall event experience of vendors and shoppers.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.

  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for customer service.

  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work early morning/late evening on the weekends.

  • Previous event or customer service experience is a plus.
