VENDOR INSTRUCTIONS

Please Note: We are working directly with Historic Hudson Valley on this event. We ask for your understanding with the following instructions. We have done all that we can to make sure load in and out, flow of event, and layout benefits the vendors as much as possible.

IMPORTANT:

October 3-5, 10-13, & 17-19 from 6:30pm to 10:30pm (vendor set-up between 4:30pm and 6:00pm)
October 24-26, 31 & November 1 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm (vendor set-up between 4:00pm and 5:30pm)

1. Craft Vendor Unloading and Set Up:

  • Set-up begins no earlier than 4:30pm or 4:00pm with the event starting at 6:30pm or 6:00pm respectively.

    • Please use the Sign-Up.com link in the Detailed Instructions email sent out closer to the event date to reserve your arrival and set-up time.

    • See load-in map below with check-in address.

  • This is an outdoor event on the grounds of the Philipsburg Manor. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes and dressing in layers.

  • Vendors will be provided a 10 ft x 10 ft tent (example photos below). Tents will already be staked down into the ground.

    • Vendors will bring their own tables, chairs, and displays. Vendors must be set up and ready to sell by 6:30pm or 6:00pm respectively.

    • We recommend bringing a handcart or wagon, as there is a short walk from the gravel path to the vendor tents.

  • Please check-in with a Marketspace Staff Member at your designated check-in area indicated on the map. Please find your Check-In Area Below.

    • Once you check in and are directed to your space, please fully unload your car.

    • DO NOT SET UP UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE MOVED YOUR CAR.

    • Vendor parking is about a 10 minute walk.

  • Please remember that Vendor booth dimensions are 10 ft x 10 ft.

  • It is required for this market to bring your own battery or self-sustained power-source operated lights (portable battery/ generator). We cannot guarantee use of electricity.

  • Vendors must abide by all fire inspector requests on day of event, including table and display placement.

  • IMPORTANT: Do not wander the property and keep all voices and noise to a whisper as daytime tours and performances are ongoing until the market starts.

2. Vendor Parking: (Please see Parking Map Below)

  • Please fully unload your car and drive the short distance to our designated vendor parking areas.

3. During the Event:

  • There is no electricity or wifi provided for this event

  • We will be posting to Facebook and Instagram (including live feed) during the event. Please let us know in advance if you are NOT interested in being a part of the posts.

4. Breakdown:

  • Packing up will begin at 10:30pm and 10:00pm respectively.

  • If you are returning the next day, you may leave your products and displays as is.

    • Please find a Marketspace staff member who will give you the green light to get your car.

    • The Marketspace staff member will close and secure the front of your tent. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO CLOSE YOUR TENT YOURSELF. IT IS A LIABILITY.

  • If it is your last day at the market, please pack up all your product and displays BEFORE getting your car.

    • If you get your car before you are fully packed, your car will be blocking others who are trying to leave.

  • Please take all trash with you and leave the area in the same condition as you arrived.
