Hi, I’m Christine and Shanti Candle Company is my small business. It all started when I bought my first soy candle at the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market in October of 2017. I loved that candle - the way it smelled, the slow burn, and the cute owl container it was poured in. That’s when I decided that I wanted to create my own hand-poured candle business.

All of my candles are made from 100% soy wax. I have chosen to use soy wax because it is a sustainable and renewable product that supports American farmers. Soy does not contribute to the continued use of fossil fuels.

My favorite items to make are my intention candles. I have approximately 15-20 crystals in use at any time and enjoy researching their respective energies. I match a fragrance to the energy of that crystal, then use food grade or organic botanicals for added decoration. Shanti Candles are made with organic hemp wicks. I can truly stand behind my products because I feel good making them with top quality ingredients! The look on my customers’ faces when they see, smell, and ultimately purchase my candles drive me to continue working so hard at my craft.

I currently sell all of my candle varieties in a few stores, and am always looking for new markets. I have enjoyed the few events I have done with Marketspace Vendor Events over the last year and look forward to the events I have planned with them in the future. The events are well organized and received, and the attendance is amazing. The table fees are reasonable, and I know that they try their best to keep it as low as possible for their artisans. Kim and Kevin are a wonderful couple to work with.

Hi there! I’m Sam, founder of Little Luna Village. In 2015 I became a wife to an amazing person and on that very same date, May 25th, in 2017 I became a mum to the biggest spark of joy in my life. Early on in my motherhood journey I found that the saying is true, it really does take a village to raise a child. LLV started because I had a need to connect with other parents who lived a natural lifestyle. Parents who questioned everything and only want the best for their family. My spouse lovingly calls it “Punk Rock Parenting”. I was totally stuck and grasping at any opportunity to connect with other moms about the amazing products I found and could make! As a trained screen printer and painter, my passion for printing & creating quickly fell in line with my vision for Little Luna Village. I could curate products for the natural minded community with my own alternative lifestyle spin.

Every single one of the products from Little Luna Village are organic, sustainable and ethically sourced. I’ve had too many opportunities to cut corners, have a larger margin, but feel very strongly that these small seemingly insignificant products are making a difference for the future of our planet. We stock a little bit of everything from beard tonic, bottles made from Mason jars and a whole line of organic graphic tees. Something for everyone in your family! My favorite item to sell is by far our reusable stainless steel straw sets. With a quirky little quote on the bag, it’s a great gift and gateway item to living a more sustainable lifestyle.

Little Luna Village is still in the newborn stage at only 5 months old. I really do hope that I will be able to vend many events to spread awareness, show off some cool product and meet amazing people along the way. I am by nature a social butterfly and love to chit chat, especially when it comes to our planet and eco-friendly parenting. I am so excited to partner with Marketspace Vendor Events in the near future, I am beyond impressed with the ease of sign up and communication the team provides. Cheers to our new relationship!
